Q: What is a high ropes course?
High Ropes activities at Kersey Valley are a
challenging physical agility exercise which take
place at 10ft, 20ft and 30ft off the ground.
You are connected to a device called a Smart
High Ropes activities focus on confronting one's
fears, emotional self-management, self-
confidence, risk-taking, etc. High Ropes
activities often involves participants
communicating and supporting each other. The
High Ropes course is a great way to develop
communication and cooperation amongst group
Q: What to do AND wear?
* Have plenty of energy, do not participate on
an empty stomach.
* You are welcome to bring a cooler for your
drinks. Pepsi vending machine is on the course.
$2 20oz drinks.
* Drink water well before and during your
session to get hydrated.
* Prove your height and weight at ticket booth.
4ft tall min and 250lbs max
* Must wear closed toe shoes on the course.
* Wear layers below 60F with a light jacket.
* Above 65F Short sleeve and shorts, cargo
pockets suggested to carry a bottle of water

Q: What are the requirements to participate?
Age 10+. You must be able to reach 5ft.
Weight requirements under 250lbs are strictly
mandated. You must prove reach at check in.
Q: What type of bathrooms are available?
We are proud to offer a state of the art
bathrooms and concession facility. Concessions
open on weekends Sept/Oct only. [TOP]
Q: Do I need to make a reservation for the
high ropes course?
We would like for you to call ahead 24 hours in
advance if you have a daily deal voucher to
redeem. The course is open in two hour session
time slots. Call or book on-line. [TOP]
Q: What time do we need to be there?
Arrive 45 minutes prior to your booked time
and have your waiver filled out on line before
attending, take breathalyser test, get in your
harness and meet at flight school. If you are
late, session will start without you and you risk
losing your tickets. [TOP]
Q: Prepare your body for active fun!
Get hydrated before your flight, bring dollar
bills for the vending machine at the ATL tower
or bring your own water bottle. If you have a
bottle carrier you can clip on to your harness
that is a good way to stay hydrated. [TOP]
Q: How long do tours take?
The high ropes challenge course is booked in 2
hour sessions of time. [TOP]
Q: Is the course certified by accredited
what makes it safer than other tours?
The course at Kersey Valley has 100% structural
engineered Towers. Every tower and platform
has been designed by an engineer and
stamped. The towers are constructed by using
massive class 2 utility poles instead of using
live trees. The harnesses are full body, which
are OSHA approved. We require helmets and
at no time are you allowed to turn upside
down. All hardware used in the design of the
course is custom made for the challenge course
industry, not what you can buy at your local
hardware store. The course and all Flight
Captains must be certified yearly by ACCT and
the Red Cross at the CPR/PR level, the
international standard for high ropes courses.

Q: Do I need to tip the staff?
Tips are graciously accepted if you feel you
had a outstanding time with your Flight crew.

Q: Is your staff certified?
Absolutely! Every Flight Captain must pass a
strict 8 hour hands on class yearly on the
proper use of the equipment and demonstrate
the skills needed to operate as a Flight
Captain. This certification is required by
Kersey Valley, Inc. and is accredited by the
ACCT. (Association of Challenge Course
Technology) Every Flight Captain is also
CPR/AED certified by the Red Cross yearly.
Most of our staff are also fire fighthers with
even higher certifications being EMTs. [TOP]

Once you are in a harness there is no refund or
